Today we will be looking at See Saw Wines located in the cool growing climate of Orange, NSW. Since 2019, their whole range has been certified organic and 100% vegan friendly. Australia is humming with talented winemakers. While regions such as the Barossa Valley and the Yarra Valley gain a lot of attention, New South Wales also offers unique growing conditions. Sydney Cove boasts the very first location of grape growing in Australia(*1). The Hunter Valley is one of the most well-known wine-growing regions in the state.

The Wine Region of Orange, NSW

Orange is located 255km west of Sydney in central NSW. This prestigious region is cool and surrounded by rich volcanic soil from Mount Canabolas(*2,3). The elevation of the region is what drives fresher temperatures and breezes. In addition to grapes, the region is well known for cheese, fungi, and fruits such as apples(*2).

1. 2020 Pinot Noir Rosé

A lovely, dry, crisp, refreshing Pinot Noir Rosé that is easy-drinking(*6). The aromas permeate the senses with plump red strawberries and a touch of thyme.

Pair with: Crispy duck salad or cheese platters for a stunning lunch or afternoon tea(*7).

2. 2020 Prosecco

3. 2020 Pinot Noir

What a lovely, delicate ruby coloured Pinot Noir! It makes for easy drinking in the summertime(*6). Crafting a perfectly balanced Pinot Noir calls for slowly ripened fruit and time and patience(*10). This wine is certainly a result of passion and dedication.

4. 2019 Chardonnay

The 2019 release is a traditional style, full-flavoured Chardonnay with excellent acidity(*6,11).

Pair with: Creamy or cheesy Italian pasta or chicken dishes(*11).

5. 2020 Sauvignon Blanc

This award-winning Sauvignon Blanc is fresh, crisp and dry with a springtime bouquet(*6,12).

6. 2018 Shiraz

For those who like something a little bit more full-bodied but still being that cool-climate style, this Shiraz is the answer. It is well-balanced and is a perfect accompaniment to roast lamb(*6,14).

Pair with: Rich and bold flavours such as gouda cheese, marinated or barbequed game meats. You could also use the shiraz in a meat marinade(*14,15).
