Here at Summer Hill Wine Shop, we understand that wine is a very personal choice and not everyone is going to fall in love with all our wines. In the rare instance that you are not satisfied with a wine purchased from Summer Hill Wine Shop, we will be more than happy to provide you a replacement or refund of your purchase.
Please contact us via email or telephone to request a return of remaining stock. We will arrange the return, and use the value of returned goods towards replacement wines tailored to your personal tastes, a refund, or store credit. The choice is up to you!
Terms & conditions
- We do not accept returns on products that have label or cosmetic damage.
- We allow returns up to 60 days from date of purchase.
- We do not accept returns on gifts.
- Freight, credit card fees and PayPal fees are non-refundable.
- Refunds will not be processed until wines are received in good condition.
- We reserve the right to refuse a refund if we believe this Returns Policy is being taken advantage of unfairly.
How to return an order
STEP 1 – Contact us! Either by phone or email. Please provide your order details and one of our friendly staff members will help organise the rest.
STEP 2 – Once a return has been approved there will be 3 options on how to return the stock.
Option 1 – You can drop the wine off at your local post office.
Option 2 – We can send an ARAMEX label via post. We can then arrange a day for an ARAMEX courier to collect the wine (someone will have to be home for this).
Option 3 – You can drop the wine of at our Sydney store. 7 Lackey St, Summer Hill, NSW, 2130.
Please note that when packing your return, it is most likely the safest to use the box it arrived in. Please ensure the wine is packed securely and safely.
STEP 3 – Once returned we will process the refund within 7 business days. If you do not wish to have replacement wines a refund will be made to your credit card or PayPal account or a store credit if preferred.
How to cancel an order before it is shipped
If the products you have ordered are in stock, your order has a high chance of being despatched within hours so please contact us immediately if you would like to cancel the order. If the order is yet to be despatched your order will simply be cancelled and a full refund issued. If your order has been despatched a courier retrieval will be required. This may take up to a week to be returned from the postal system. A return will not be issued until the stock is returned. Freight is non-refundable.
