Wine Home Delivery

All orders are dispatched via our courier service “ARAMEX” unless instructed otherwise. If you wish to use an alternative delivery service an extra fee may apply. All orders are insured for loss or breakages up to the amount of $1500 per dozen.

All orders will be despatched the next business day unless we are waiting on more stock to complete the order. If this is the case your order may take 2 – 5 business days to be despatched depending on circumstances.

The upside of our courier service is a fast, reliable and trackable service. The down side is that we are unable to deliver to PO BOXES or Australia Post Parcel Lockers. If you do wish to use Australia Post additional charges may apply.

Instead of incorporating our Shipping rate into our pricing we charge a small amount of freight per dozen bottles. Please see below for pricing;

Please note that these delivery times are only a guide line and cannot be guaranteed, especially during the festive season.

No need to fear about HOT WEATHER and your wines.

Summer Hill Wine Shop will not despatch any order if the temperature exceeds an unsafe level to transport your wines. We will keep you informed via email if your order is delayed and will keep you updated when the order is safe to be despatched.

Summer Hill Wine Shop will not deliver wines under any circumstances to anyone under the age of 18 years. If there is any doubt about the age of the recipient on delivery, our delivery drivers are obliged to request some form of photographic ID. If that recipient is unable to produce appropriate ID, then the delivery driver will be unable to deliver the wine.

Most deliveries are made during business hours Monday to Friday. Business or home addresses that someone will be available to accept the delivery are more favoured. If possible, we also recommend additional instructions if no one is available to accept the delivery, such as “leave at front door” or “leave at backdoor”, but only if safe to do so.

If no one is home to accept the delivery and no delivery instructions are provided the courier will leave a delivery card to say she/he has been and will ask for you to contact them to arrange delivery or alternatively a pick up from a nearby location.

Deliveries unclaimed within 5 days will be returned to us and accounts will be credited less freight fees. Please note that Fastway Couriers will not recognise claims that have been signed for or left unattended where an authority to leave the wine has been given.

If you suspect a breakage simply hand the box back to the driver and do not sign for it. We will issue a replacement and re-delivery at our own cost.

Unfortunately, we currently only deliver across Australia and not Overseas.
