2022 Dr Mayer Remstal Pinot Noir Germany – Timo Mayer is a small farm producing hand crafted, single vineyard wines. They believe that wines are made in the vineyard and therefore try to interfere as little as possible in the natural winemaking process. All of their wines are unfined and unfiltered to show the true expression of the land. Their aim is to make wines with a point of difference and to really showcase region and varietal to their best ability.
A juicy little Pinot that offers real charm and character. A good mix of ripe fruits, alphine herbs, and a sprinkling of pepper. A lighter style Pinot with freshness and a fine web of tannins. A real energy about it… different but good.
