2021 Farmer’s Leap Random Shot Shiraz Padthaway – The Longbottom family have been farming in Padthaway, South Australia since 1938. Onions, sheep and cattle have long been their main stay. In 1993 the first vines were planted. Now over 400* ha are dedicated to wine grape production with 6 varieties being produced.
The wine has aromas of red berries and blackcurrant, along with floral and dried mint notes and hints of earthy spice. The palate is full flavoured and fruit forward, showing mixed berries and toasted spice characters. With hints of anise and has soft velvety tannins and a lingering finish.
