2023 Helm Riesling Tumbarumba – The philosophy at Helm Wines is that wine making is an art not a science. The winemaker is the custodian of the grape and has the potential to create a masterpiece. This is a taut, racy and aromatic Riesling from the high country of NSW. There’s a lovely floral element and crisp minerality on the nose that flows to a fresh, enticing palate that kicks in with a fruity citrus attack then finishes with mineral, citrus and green melon. Excellent.
