2022 See Saw Marge Orange

2022 See Saw Marge Orange – Selected from their organically certified Pinot Noir and Gamay blocks from Balmoral at 900m, these grapes were all hand picked. Placed into half tonne slotted bins, taken directly to the winery. These whole bunches were placed into open fermenters and wild fermentation started while the grapes were fully intact. After 15 days the carbonic maceration was finished and the fruit was gently pressed into stainless steel tanks with lees stirred for 4 months to increase the mouthfeel. The wine was passed through a rock filter prior to bottling.
This skin contact organic Pint Noir and Gamay has been incubated as naturally as possible. Aromas of dark cherries and plums with a hint of raspberry. Tonnes of red fruits on the palate with a velvet mouthfeel. Pair with spicy food, game, charcuterie and cheese boards with friends.
