2022 Hart & Hunter Twenty Six Rows Chardonnay Hunter Valley – Twenty Six Rows Chardonnay has been inspired by a parcel of fruit from one of the Hunter Valleys most iconic vineyards planted some 30 years ago, the Wills Hill Vineyard, located at the gateway to Pokolbin.
Early picked Chardonnay has ensured the retention of natural acidity and citrus flavours to balance the depth and richness from the barrel ferment and regular lees stirring that followed. This small batch represents the selection of the best french oak offering unique structure, blended with a small portion of unoaked wine to increase the fresh lifted fruit on the palate.
A great wine drinking now, but definitely leave it in the cellar if you can for 5+ years. Enjoy this beautiful Chard with Thai fish cakes with ginger & lime dipping sauce.
