2020 Claymore Wines Black Magic Woman Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon Clare Valley – Black Magic Woman is only made when Claymore have a standout vintage from the old cabernet vines in the Churinga Vineyard, located just North of Watervale. These dry grown, gnarled old vines produce high quality grapes that create a Clare Valley Cabernet with power, purity, depth and structure.
Claymore have always held the belief that Cabernet Sauvignon from the Clare Valley is a magical beast – when treated right it produces a wine to cast a spell on any wine lover. They select their best parcel of Cabernet Sauvignon then indulged the wine with 2 years oak maturation. The result is a deep, dark, dangerously intense Cabernet with integrated tannins and dense black fruits wound up in savoury oak notes.
Decant and enjoy in it’s youth or cellar for up to 8+ years.
