2018 Kirrihill Regional Selection Cabernet Sauvignon Clare Valley – The grapes for this wine were grown on three of their best and most distinct Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards in the Clare Valley. They are located in Auburn and on both the east and west sides of Clare. Each site contributes its own unique microclimate and soil profile, resulting in a diverse range of palate structures and flavour profiles.
opens with aromas of blackberry, cassis and orange peel, with hints of chestnut and forest floor. The palate shows vibrant, ripe blackberry flavours and nutty toasted oak. Fine chalky tannins and fruit are carried through the length of the palate.
Enjoy now or will reward with careful cellaring for 5-10 years. Delicious with lamb.
