2023 Mr Mick Pinot Grigio Limestone Coast – The climate and soils of the Limestone Coast wine region enable Mr Mick to produce Pinot Grigio very similar to the grape’s origin in Italy. Grapes were harvested at their peak flavour maturity from a single vineyard in the South Australian Limestone Coast wine region. The juice was separated from skins, cold settled and carefully transported home to Clare and fermented for 14 days. A steady cool ferment ensures a focussed palate with maximum Grigio fruit expression.
This wine has lifted nashi pear and melon aromas and flavours and a well-balanced crisp yet generous texture, modelled in the classic Italian style with just a touch of fruit sweetness backed by a bright acidity and a lengthy punch of fruit flavour!
It is a great wine just to enjoy on its own, as an aperitif or will pair well with a varied range of food, particularly with spicy dishes or seafood!
