2018 Clairault Cabernet Sauvignon Margaret River – Clairault Streicker is a family owned grower and wine producer based in Margaret River, located on the rugged south-west coastline of Western Australia. They are the owners and caretakers of four distinct sites spanning three Margaret River sub-regions – Yallingup, Wilyabrup and Karridale. Clairault Streicker wines are authentic and classically-styled, setting a benchmark for the Margaret River region.
A bouquet of violets, blueberries, cedar and black currants accompanied by hints of dark chocolate, raspberries and mocha. Structured yet generous entry of primary red fruit, spiced plums and wet stone. A red and black fruit core extends the entire length of the wine, held together by tensile oak and fruit tannin and a luscious blueberry and liquorice finish.
