Gonzalez Byass Leonor Palo Cortado Sherry Spain – Founded in 1835 by Manuel Maria Gonzalez. Gonzalez Bypass has since been dedicated to the production of top quality Sherry wines and Spirits.
Aged for an average of 12 years in American oak casks following the traditional Solera system.
Due to contact with oxygen it has taken on a light amber colour. On the nose subtle and delicate with typical Palomino aromas of nuts, in this case hazelnuts and slight reminders of yeast due to its time under the flor. The palate is complex and powerful with notes of dried fruits, vanilla and fine wood from the 12 years spent in oak casks achieving a refined character. A perfectly integrated and well balanced sherry with a long finish.
