2022 Printhie Mountain Range Sauvignon Blanc Orange – This wine punches above its weight.
Harvested at peak fruit intensity whilst retain fresh acidity. Fermented in stainless steel tanks with aromatic yeast at lower temperatures (mid-teens) then letting the temperature to rise late in ferment to produce some thiol aromatics for complexity. Bottled early for freshness.
Pale green-yellow colour. Obvious varietal aromas – ripe citrus plus tropical fruits highlighted by passionfruit. The palate has juicy fruit and zingy acidity giving a mouthwatering quality.
Whilst it will develop some additional richness with 2-3 years bottle age, it is a wine produced to look its best when young and fresh.
