Working with Grenache growers in unique sites across Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, Riverland and more, Giles makes elegant, fine, aromatic wines. Choosing to focus on the Grenache grape shows the belief Giles has in this special variety. Thistledown Grenaches are made in small quantities in the Adelaide Hills.
Sourced from a number of old vineyards in the Riverland and McLaren Vale, some of which are dry grown bush vines.
Aromatic and lifted on the nose with a beautifully layered, textural palate with wild strawberry and spice. A softer style Grenache but with loads of energy and character. Delish.
