2023 Moppity Vineyards Lock & Key Pinot Noir Tumbarumba – Sourced from their high altitude single vineyard in NSW’s Tumbarumba wine region.
Cold soaked pre-ferment. Small batches were fermented seperately then carefully blended before seamlessy integrating in barrel over a few months.
Beautifully fragrant with lifted red fruits, strawberry and floral aromas and earthy undertones. A seductive palate opens with pure red cherry and strawberry fruit flavours, following on to darker secondary characters of game and cured meats. The texture is pure Pinot; refined, polished and silky.
One of the best if not the best value Pinot Noir we have come across!
