2023 Swinging Bridge Mrs Payten Chardonnay Orange – Swinging Bridge is a family owned winery with a proud 100 year farming heritage. Based in the cool climate of Orange, they are committed to making elegant, handcrafted wines that reflect the vineyard and region.
The Swinging Bridge Winemaker Series like their namesakes, are unique. They reflect the best of the Orange region, capturing the essence and terroir of the vineyard. As was mrs Payten, these are wines of style, elegance and finesse.
Mrs Payten has fruit sourced from the renowned ‘Caldwell Lane’ and ‘Hill Park’ Vineyard, which both sit at 900 metres. The resulting wine has an alluring nose of green apple & white peach. On the palate it is smooth and medium-bodied with subtle citrus flavours and a fine acid line carrying the finish long.
