2020 Dry River Pinot Noir Martinborough – Power and concentration are at the centre of the wines of this year. Dry River Pinot Noir is a deep, dark colour with a subtle but generous nose. Aromatics of currants, mulberry, dark plum, baking spice and a lift of oak unfurl over time. The palate is bright, rich, smooth and seamless, showing a compact wine that gives great pleasure now and will continue to do so for the next 10 years and more.
Decanted at 18 – 20C, serve with venison tartare, roasted lamb rack or mushroom risotto.
